  • The family never seems to talk openly about the father's death even though both Shane and Silas clearly have issues.

  • Well, there's the fact that the mother sells weed!

  • Uncle Andy gave Shane the best masturbation talk in the history of masturbation!

  • Since discovering Nancy's source of income, Lupita sure doesn't work much anymore!
DIRTY LAUNDRY
  • Uhhh... the mother deals weed.

  • Silas literally airs his dirty laundry when eventual girlfriend Meghan spray-paints his boxers blue when he expects her to give him head at a party. Lupita spends the better part of the day trying to remove the stain in the laundry.

  • The family's money woes are common knowledge around town because Nancy has to pay all her bills with cash.

  • Shane gets caught by the principal helping his uncle sell the misprinted "Chris (sic) Died for Your Sins" t-shirts at school.

What Nancy is doing has to be hard, and the family does not seem to wan to deal at the moment. Andy did a nice thing by moving in to help Nancy out. But when he first moved in he did not do much helping as he did Smoke pot and watch TV. but he is doing beter to try and help Nancy and the boys and Lupita.
