Im thinking that Nancy is drawn to the idea of controlling her own destiny. Not having her husband around anymore forces her to face her own nature, and through each sucessful flirt with a dangerous situation, her ability to overcome and adapt to it's challenge, ups her ambition for how far she feels compelled to push herself the next time. It has come to the point now where she has formed an alliance with the biggest dog around because, as we know, when you are the mate of the alpha dog, you become the alpha bitch... and no one can touch you. The petty battles she once had to fight alone, she no longer needs to fight. The only question is, can she maintain her status, sanity, family, and any semblance of independance in this new lifestyle? We shall see. I for one, am excited.

I think that she does have an undeniable attraction to danger which almost becomes an addiction. But I also think that she likewise seeks protection at the same time, and tries to form alliances with men who have the means to protect her and her kids. In covering all of the bases, she ends up with multiple alliances with men who are natural enemies of each other - as well as often being obviously dangerous to her - which is really a fascinating theme. The more dangerous situations she involves herself in, the more protection she requires, and the cycle continues. All in all it makes for very addicting entertainment! :)

"Estaban gave Nancy his jacket before she left because it was cold outside. I'm guessing that will be found with spatter after Nancy and Shane take off. They need to get rid of Estaban to keep the show at its original charm and keep the character challenges coming. Nancy likes it rough but she doesn't like to be told what to do. Estaban has to go. " Ouu... very wise thoughts, Esteban the fall guy because Nancy's got his jacket... I hadn't clicked. But man will he ever be pissed off when he finds out Nancy framed him...

They've already confirmed a season 6 but they also said that Mary louise parker's contract was only set for 6 seasons. do you think they will bring it back? It is Showtime's highest rated show but most people think that a show is stale after 5 or 6 seasons.

Doug...Pause...i think he's character portrays insight into such wild pot movies made in the early 1900's. its great...if you look at the amusement here and have done your pot movie rounds you can see how he epitomizes the rantings displayed in these early movies. You know "the constantly ejaculating evil marijuana user" etcet. Good work and an important view to hold in a positive sense is that any weirdo actually demonstrating such character traits would be rightly embarrassed or highly motivated to give themselves a head check. c we are balanced enough so we see this as inappropriate behavior which is important to effect those in our society around us that YES some of this is really unacceptable behavior, Doug...really...ROFL.

"Could it be true? Is Andy truly in love with Nancy? Share your Weeds Season 5 predictions here! " Well i have never seen a more talented scene than the 1970's magazine Andy found. That was awesome. One of my favorite episodes. This was so well acted their body language between the two characters gave us great insight into how they both saw each other. Perhaps Nancy was more in disbelief that Andy has chosen another to marry based on completely exaggerated answers that Andy made sure he provided carefully and skillfully trying to coax Nancy somewhere she couldn't believe she was actually at, never mind some of the true emotions she was experiencing as well as the reality of where she was at with Esteban. This should and would make change in any woman, a powerful interaction (for the characters) to truly begin an understanding of where they come from or where at least they would like to in regards to each other. Love may blossom but I think Andy will be waiting for a while before we see Nancy admit to herself that she loves Andy let alone he the poor bugger ed oops bugger.

Celia disillusioned somehow with lesbianism and abandoned by any shred of family she will return to a life of solidarity and conviction for all involved with drugs. maybe she may hit it off with the wrestler and start some grow house with Nancy son(s) (the new family hit man) and keep those sorry penis envying blokes at arms length inspired only by that ever dangling bud at the end of a stick. Celia may end up busted and in a Mexican prison camp or some trip into the golden triangle with riches abode...with these talented people i am sure we will be in for a surprise or two next season and some great entertainment regardless of how accurate our predictions may be.
