"I love all the ground breaking work this show has which is long overdue in mainstream media, but when you have a grown man asking an underage kid about sexual orientaion or favor, repeatedly; (I guess it annoyed me too). Had it just been the one-liner I would have just brushed it off as typical Doug weedism. "Smoke get's in your eye's". They can tone that down a little bit though. I guess controversy gains veiwers, but that stuff has bad mojo. If I wanted tasteless sexual video, I'd roll up a fatty, and rent a video from the local book store. I wonder just how much of the props is actually real weed? Kevin! Put down the pipe dude. Your peaking! Other then that, another terrific episode. Can't get enough. UNTIL I saw Doug in the most recent episode go into the kitchen 2 (maybe 3 times i forget) and repeat "what happened to all the cheese". I think the writers tied the two together. It seems Silas' pot has severe effects on memory. So, in my opinion, Dougs repeated "Do you suck dick Silas" is fully justified because he clearly thinks he is asking the question for the first time instead of repeating it. 9 out of 9 found this valuable. Do you? |

But funny as Doug is, they wont let us forget that he is the one guy who cant really handle himself. Not that the weed is the problem, Doug is! Every time we see him since the first time on the Soccer field in season 1 he is worse off. Top that off with the awkwardness of Silas having to be alone with him in the car- which makes sense for the pedophile angle- but i dont think that is the case. I think Doug is just really a mess and when he gets high he wallows in it... and he is always high. 3 out of 3 found this valuable. Do you? |
