When is season 5 going to premier? What's going to happen? I am predicting that Conrad and Helia come back, or that Nancy goes back to them. Obviously Nancy won't get whacked, so something's gotta happen to Esteban and his crew. Roy Till is definitely gonna get the axe, he's gotta go. 5  out of 7 found this valuable. Do you?

I kind of like Roy Till, many unexpected aspects to his character. I hope he stays around. I think Nancy goes back to Conrad and his whole family, that story line was so much better than the Mexican escapade. Things got way too dark this season, we need more of the old comedy. 7  out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

Here's the thing with Nancy going back to Conrad. Weeds takes it time to run through a story line. If Nancy does go back to Conrad, I would guess it won't be until the end of Season 5. They have the whole "pregnancy" thing to work out. If she is pregnant with Esteban's son, I doubt the head of the Mexican mafia is just going to let her go bye bye. In terms of Till, oh he is soooooo dead. Especially if Nancy's survival is at stake. Maybe Season 6 will return to the "feel good" funny series we had in Seasons 1 - 3. But do we really want that? This story keeps us on edge. I love that. 7  out of 9 found this valuable. Do you?

Well as far as when season 5 airs I have no idea....but I think after watching episode 50 Silas, Andie, and Shane are going to take over the whole see. Nancy's going to sit back relax and let her babys daddy take care of her. 7  out of 10 found this valuable. Do you?

That's a good point, the guys were talking about manning up. But I don't think it's as simple as Nancy sitting back and relaxing. She likes the game too much to do that. I think she wants to get back to her hometown business (maybe not in her hometown anymore), but she is at a standstill with the whole pregnancy thing. 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Nancy sit back and let everyone else take control? That pretty much goes against everything the show started out being about. Nancy is not passive, and should not become so.

Do you suppose the writers indulge these musings on the fate of their characters? What I wouldn't give to know what they had planned!

But I agree -- no way Nancy is going to be "kept" (or however you want to put it). And why would Esteban be in love with someone who sits on her ass all day and relies on other people to take care of her. Nancy relies on herself, period; that's part of her appeal. She's tough.
Anyway,

I was thinking earlier today that seasons 3 and 4 both ended with Celia getting fucked over by her family. Think it's time for her to get a break? I think she deserves one. She was at least trying (though perhaps not too terribly earnestly) to make ammends... But maybe it's because season 2 ended with her screwing the Botwins (arresting SIlas for taking her hidden cameras when Silas had Nancy's/ U-Turn's/ the Armenians' weed in the car... and then Celia put it all in the pool... etc.). I don't remember how season 1 ended. Is the score even? Meaning she won't have to lose any more body parts than she already has (i.e. boobs)?
Rambling. Speculation.

Celia has always been such an out of control bitch, I just love her! Looks like her daughter is a bit of a chip off the old block, that story line should be excellent. More Celia, less Mexican cartel please. 4  out of 8 found this valuable. Do you?

I agree with the majority that Nancy is not pregnant, especially if there are 2 more seasons coming. I think that Nancy is faking it to save her life, then she will end up sending the DEA agent (roy) after Estaban when she can't fake it any longer. I also hope that Conrad and Helia comeback, I don't think that we got to explore that love intrest long enough, but I am doubtful that it will happen. Does anyone think that they will do any sort of romance between nancy and Andy? They were hinting at that a little... I don't think I would be okay with that... I think of Andy as another Son almost. I think that Silas and Andy will try to start there own thing, get into some deep trouble and need Nancy to come bail them out and take charge of whatever they are doing.... 10  out of 12 found this valuable. That sounds good to me. I guess in early judaism if a man died his brother was supposed to marry his widow, so perhaps the show could go in that direction, but ick. Give me Conrad any day. I definitely think the idea of Nancy's having to bail the boys out of whatever trouble they create fits the original direction of the show. The one that drew us all in.

I wouldn't be surprised it the whole situation didn't cross the boarder, Whether she is or isn't prego she is in deep s**t. How long can Esteban have the upper hand. Him or Roy Till will have to go. If it ends up being Esteban, she could take over the Mexican connection, she would stop all the "teen trafficking" and be a hero. there is some wierd connection between her and Cesar. Celia is already Mexico, Andy wil go find the Mexmaid. It would be awesome if by some twist Conrad and Helia ended up there too. Just the thought of Helia in some little mexican town makes me laugh. 5  out of 6 found this valuable. Do you?

I didn't think Andy was into Mermex. I mean yeah, they had sex, but I thought the actual romantic attraction was one-sided. So why would he go after her (other than just to be a nice guy and save her from the INS)? Did I miss something? 2  out of 4 found this valuable. Do you?

Firstly, a sonogram doesn't necessarily indicate a pregnancy. Probably a picture of her liver.
I don't believe Mary-Louise is pregnant, so it is probably a ruse.
Nancy will definitely be spending some time in Mexico, because the boys and Andy are set up to go it alone now on Silas' Mexican rented grow-farm.
(Remember the road signs counting down the miles to the Mexican border the message for the gift basket?)
Cesar's decision to let Nancy live will be the beginning of the end for him. Nancy will have the time to:
1. Create a simpler drug cartel led by Cesar - no more heavy drugs, slavery & guns (remember Cesar saying he didn't have a dark heart). It is better for business anyway (easier to operate).
2. Setup a scenario for Season 6, where Nancy takes of the Mexican Cartel (you don't think her only reason for jailing the tunnel crew was only to save herself do you? She leap-frogged them in the chain of command). Cesar's right-hand man will be the first to go, of course.
Doug has to go to Mexico with Andy, Silas and and Shane because of Doug's shady dealings with the Town Council.
Andy will have to pine after Nancy from a couple of towns over on the grow-farm, and he doesn't need the Mexmaid, but she might be sticking around anyway.
Shane's dad is history-no grandma anymore.
Shane's cool, fear-nothing business sense will nicely compliment Silas' small business. He may even turn out to be the muscle of that group.
Dean's not paying for Celia. They will go down to try to rescue her. Dean doesn't have the cash. The rescue will reunite that family for season 6, when Dean becomes Nancy's consigliary.
Season 6 will end with family reunited for dinner in a New Jersey diner, and a subtle parade of characters that Nancy has wronged over in the past, until ... BLACKOUT.
