I think Conrad and his family have to reenter the show. They were far too big of entities. A really interesting plot twist would be that it's not Esteban's baby at all, it's Conrad's who Nancy has been seeing.

This show is great because you don't follow the characters around that much. There is a lot you don't see. So, Nancy should be having Conrads baby, buying her enough time to fool Esteban until the baby is born. Conrad would reenter and togther they would make a plan to take down Esteban.

The DEA guy (can't think of his name), is going to kill Esteban's head honcho (also can't remember his name). Then he could get involved with that kid from the pilot episode since they are bringing back old characters.

Silas is going to be pretty boring this season. Shane should be kidnapped or something to that extent later in the season by dealing to the wrong people, perhaps some mexicans.

Esteban's hit man is going to play a big role in this season and you'll see him turn away from Esteban.

Ah so much to think about! I love speculating.

I have been watching Weeds since the first season aired and i have to say that it is the only drama that i can stand. (admit it its a drama) and i have gotten every friend i have into it and we meet every monday night to throw down on a giant joint and watch the new episode. Sad that we have to wait til next summer but, hey im used to it by now. I was so stoked when silas hooked up with the neighbors mom!! hell yeah. IM BUMMED SEASON 5 WILL BE THE LAST! i wont have any reason to have Showtime anymore! 2  out of 10 found this valuable. Do you?

"Nancy is in serious survival mode, as usual. This time she saved her ass by bringing either Silas' or Shane's sonogram to let her live another day. Of course its a boy. She will probably have the DEA agent killed by the Mexican mafia. The interesting twist will be if Season 5 starts from Nancy's meeting with Esteban or if it will start "9 months" from now with a good portion of the season being "back story". Can hardly wait. "
That is an interesting thought! I just assumed she was pregnant, but it could definitely go either way and starting back would be good either way, too.

Are you saying season 5 and season 6 are a certainty? Awesome if that's true! Where are you getting this information, if you don't mind my asking?

"I wouldn't be surprised it the whole situation didn't cross the boarder, Whether she is or isn't prego she is in deep s**t. How long can Esteban have the upper hand. Him or Roy Till will have to go. If it ends up being Esteban, she could take over the Mexican connection, she would stop all the "teen trafficking" and be a hero. there is some wierd connection between her and Cesar. Celia is already Mexico, Andy wil go find the Mexmaid. It would be awesome if by some twist Conrad and Helia ended up there too. Just the thought of Helia in some little mexican town makes me laugh. "
Nancy taking over the Mexican connection or another powerful position totally makes since as she never settles for less and is constantly striving for higher places. She makes the most out of every situation with her smart, cunning and creative resourcefulness. Her strength and ability would almost certainly lead to power.

"Firstly, a sonogram doesn't necessarily indicate a pregnancy. Probably a picture of her liver.
I don't believe Mary-Louise is pregnant, so it is probably a ruse.
Nancy will definitely be spending some time in Mexico, because the boys and Andy are set up to go it alone now on Silas' Mexican rented grow-farm.
(Remember the road signs counting down the miles to the Mexican border the message for the gift basket?)
Cesar's decision to let Nancy live will be the beginning of the end for him. Nancy will have the time to:
1. Create a simpler drug cartel led by Cesar - no more heavy drugs, slavery & guns (remember Cesar saying he didn't have a dark heart). It is better for business anyway (easier to operate).
2. Setup a scenario for Season 6, where Nancy takes of the Mexican Cartel (you don't think her only reason for jailing the tunnel crew was only to save herself do you? She leap-frogged them in the chain of command). Cesar's right-hand man will be the first to go, of course.
Doug has to go to Mexico with Andy, Silas and and Shane because of Doug's shady dealings with the Town Council.
Andy will have to pine after Nancy from a couple of towns over on the grow-farm, and he doesn't need the Mexmaid, but she might be sticking around anyway.
Shane's dad is history-no grandma anymore.
Shane's cool, fear-nothing business sense will nicely compliment Silas' small business. He may even turn out to be the muscle of that group.
Dean's not paying for Celia. They will go down to try to rescue her. Dean doesn't have the cash. The rescue will reunite that family for season 6, when Dean becomes Nancy's consigliary.
Season 6 will end with family reunited for dinner in a New Jersey diner, and a subtle parade of characters that Nancy has wronged over in the past, until ... BLACKOUT."
I can see this all as a possibility! Especially about Celia's family.

supposedly it'll air next summer (no official date) and will be the next to last season. Showtime HAS come out and said season 6 will be the final season.
Personally, after last season, I wish they ended it after the fire. It doesn't even seem like the same show anymore.....but I still f*****g love it!

i totally agree. i wish they had given more closure/finality to the whole conrad/heylia/nancy thing (and more closure all around) and ended it with the fire. season 4 has gotten way too off-track with what it was that people loved about the show to begin with. plus, i can't stand the way there was not even a single MENTION or acknowledgment of conrad or heylia whatsoever in season 4. that's not even logical. not even a phone call or a mention or anything. doesn't even make sense. even clinique and marvin have appeared in other episodes. just seems like such a cop out from the writers in my opinion. if they knew they were gonna not bring back conrad and heylia (and maybe the didn't), they should've added more closure to the season 3 finale.

i totally agree with you there, us responsible recreational users that know that marijuana is an herb and not a drug, hate seeing a great series take an unexpected turn with that quote. we just like to be entertained with a great show about marijuana. thats why its called WEEDS. 2  out of 3 found this valuable.
